every day i go through the same motions of my life
even though i am no longer alive inside
and maybe the reason we didn't work out the first couple times
is the same reason why
because i get so scared of waking up at night
and never getting to tell my dreams goodbye
i looked up at the sky today and thought of our favorite song
and that night when your phone wouldn't stop vibrating?
i don't know if you heard me, but you hurt me
'cuz we were so young and ignorant
and it left me hopelessly hoping that it wouldn't be it for us
and you may be the reason i write these fucking songs
